How do roofs change between Oakleigh and Pakenham?
Distance from the city is a rough guide to roof age in the south-east. Oakleigh was substantially built up by the mid 1920s, so terracotta tiles are common there. Clayton, Springvale and Dandenong grew quickly after the Second World War, when factories opened and housing followed, and concrete tiles are the usual result. Rowville and the northern part of Keysborough filled in from the 1960s to the 1990s. Berwick, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Pakenham hold much of the newer housing, where Colorbond and concrete tiles from recent decades are typical.
What work suits which roof age?

How long does a roof restoration take?
Most single-storey homes take two to four days. The finish carries a 15-year Dulux manufacturer warranty, and our workmanship is warranted for 12 months.
Can you work on both tiled and metal roofs?
Restoration and washing apply to both, with lower pressure used on Colorbond and painted surfaces. Repointing applies to tiled roofs alone, because it deals with the bedded ridge and hip capping. We also install new Colorbond and Zincalume roofs, and convert tiled roofs to Colorbond where a re-roof makes more sense than restoring.
